Today we started off by making the presentation for tomorrows meeting with the other master thesis groups. This ended up in an interesting summary of our theoretical background so far and it gave us some new things to think about. The afternoon was spent at IT-Univ trying to conduct some methods. Oskar came up with an method of free association which rendered in some new and useful inputs.
Notes from a succesful meeting
- Changing from situation to objects
- As stated: You can´t look away from sounds
- Should we limit us to quite enviroment or in-car-radio? Music or not?
- Begin without music and then maybe add in later tests?
- Could closeness differentiate music from awareness sounds?
- Dynamic sounds; sounds represent distance by volume.
